We were approached by a caller about a German shep

We were approached by a caller about a German shepherd and a Saint Bernard being kept in horrible conditions and not given the required care. Srilu Ma'am immediately responded and alerted GHMC officials about the situation. Upon reaching the location, we confronted the watchman taking care of the dogs, and he then let us know that the dogs don't belong to him and that he is temporarily taking care of them because the owner had to leave for the sudden death of his close ones. We then spoke to the guy's mom, and she gave us her son's contact who is the actual owner, Apari Hari Krishna. He immediately came to pick up the dogs, knowing the situation. We then came to know that he had adopted both dogs when their owners no longer wanted them and has been taking care of them ever since. They are now safe and sound with him.

Pablo was found on the streets in terrible condition. He was electrocuted, and then his limbs were crushed in an accident. He was dragging himself on one functioning limb for 20 days before he was rescued. A call came to AFA from Instagram, and we reached out to the guys. Following this, he had several tests done, including a blood transfusion, X-rays, dressing, medications, and double amputation surgery to get him in a stable state. He's currently in the recovery stage and hopefully gets better soon. The cat survived because of two young volunteers, Wadiah and Abhiraj. This rescue alone has cost us more than 40k. Thanks to Radhika Charitable Trust for contributing 20k and volunteers for raising funds. We have taken care of the rest of the expenses, which were about 20k+. Pablo will now live with Abhiraj. A special thanks to everyone involved in this rescue🙏

Shanthanu (a cocker spaniel) was found in the MLA colony of Banjara Hills. He was abandoned by the owners in his old age; he is blind and was in a helpless situation when we found him. Luckily, he was found by one of our volunteers, and Prathima ma'am from AFA immediately adopted him. He will be safe, loved, and given the required care.Abandoning senior dogs breaks our hearts, as it is like abandoning an elderly family.
The dogs go through confused, desperate, and heartbroken emotions.
So many die suddenly of heart breaks.
Please don't abandon your pets🙏

A tale of Love❤️

Love was found by Daisy in a miserable condition; her body was completely paralysed. She was then fostered by Anushka, who took Love to the vet, where they diagnosed her with a tetanus infection. With no hope of her recovery, it was the best decision to euthanize her and end her suffering. But then, on the day of euthanasia, a miracle happened: Love started showing signs of improvement, which is when Anushka decided to not euthanize her and started fostering her with the hope of recovery. She fostered her for almost 10 months with the utmost love and care. She was given proper food, love, exercise, and required massages to help her walk again, after all the hard work and care put in by Anushka, Love is finally back on her legs, running all around the house, living the life she deserves. She was adopted by Arpuda Reddy and her husband recently and is living the best life.
